PÓVOA DE VARZIM, Portugal - After seven sessions and three more to go, Linghua Jiao (China) manages to attain top spot of the OEMC 2017 with 24 table points, followed closely by Yoshihiro Suzuki (Japan) with 23, and Matthieu Pfeiffer (France) with 22.

This means that the 216 competitors are now halfway the bruising battle of ten sessions..  Yoshihiro Suziki from Japan has lost his first place to his fellow-countryman Ryuichi Ohori.
