LAS VEGAS - Preregistration for the upcoming World Riichi Championship is now open, offering players private or shared room options, at the world famous Palms Hotel, but of course a stay at the Palms is more than a place to rest your head.

Move on over to the View Bar, and its pool and shuffleboard, 8,529 square feet of cozy gathering space.

Vegas, of course, is also famous for it's stunning shows and headline entertainers, as featured in the 2,500 seat capacity Pearl Theater. The WRC is still too far off to know what celebrity will croon for the stage in October, but it's sure to be a show worth catching. That, and with 3,500 deluxe high-backed seats and IMAX experience, the movie theater at the Palms has plenty of room to enjoy the biggest blockbusters of the year as well.

Eventually all this activity is going to burn up an appetite, and then its over the N9NE Steakhouse, listed as a "Top 100 Restaurant in the World" by Conde Nast Traveler, "Top 100 Dining Hot Spot of 2016" by and "Best Steakhouse" by Vegas Magazine. Palms Hotel is also home to Nove Italiano, the Best Italian Restaurant in Vegas, according to Atop the Palms Ivory Tower is also the Alizé for French cuisine, where the slogan reads "The only thing more spectacular than the view — is what's on your plate." More casual dining and buffets are also to be found in the newly renovated 24 Seven Cafe, the Bistro Cafe, Cafe 6, Hooters, and the China House, all found on the property.
